Mid-morning includes a panoramic drive to an oyster farm for a tasting session paired with Croatian sparkling wine. In the afternoon, visit Ston to explore its famous salt pans and city walls, then enjoy a wine tasting at Winery Miloš. The late afternoon offers a drive through picturesque villages and vineyards, with an optional lunch stop. The day concludes with a visit to the Boris Violić winery in Potomje for another wine tasting before returning to Dubrovnik, filled with great memories and local wines.

Additionally, Ston is a culinary destination, celebrated for its fresh oysters and mussels harvested from the clean waters of the nearby bay. The combination of historical sites, traditional industry, and excellent seafood makes Ston a unique and interesting place to visit.

Pelješac Peninsula – The Pelješac Peninsula, stretching into the Adriatic Sea in southern Croatia, is a haven for lovers of wine, seafood, and unspoiled nature. 1. Morning: Pickup from your lodging in Dubrovnik. Ensure you have a comfortable outfit for the day and your camera ready for some amazing photos.
– Our first stop will be a viewpoint above the Old Town of Dubrovnik, where you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of the historic city. Here, I’ll share insights into Dubrovnik’s rich history and its significance over the centuries.

2. Mid-Morning: Following the Old Town, we embark on a scenic drive towards the oyster farms. The drive itself offers panoramic views of the Adriatic Sea and the lush landscapes that define this region.
– Arriving at the oyster farm, you’ll have the opportunity to taste fresh oysters directly from the sea, priced at 1€ each. To complement your tasting, I’ll provide a Croatian sparkling wine, known for pairing excellently with oysters.

3. Afternoon: Next, we’ll visit Ston, famous for its salt pans and the second longest city walls in the world. It’s a perfect spot for history enthusiasts and those interested in medieval architecture.
– Our journey continues to the winery Miloš, where you’ll enjoy a wine tasting session for 20€ per person. Discover the unique flavors of local wines and learn about the winemaking process in this region.

4. Late Afternoon: We’ll pass through the picturesque villages of Žuljana and Trstenik, leading to the renowned Dingač vineyards. These areas are known for producing some of Croatia’s most prestigious wines.
– If you’re interested, we can stop for lunch at Borak. It’s a great way to enjoy local cuisine and take a short break before we continue our exploration.

5. Evening: After lunch, we’ll drive through the tunnel to Potomje, a place celebrated for its exquisite red wine production.
– In Potomje, we’ll visit the Boris Violić winery or Bura-Mrgudić for another wine tasting session, It’s a fantastic opportunity to savor local wines and interact with the winemakers.

6. End of Tour: After a day filled with history, scenic views, and culinary delights, we’ll make our way back to Dubrovnik. You can expect to return to your lodging with great memories, photos, and perhaps a few bottles of wine to enjoy later.
