We depart from Dubrovnik, stopping first at a lookout for a view of the old town. After crossing into Montenegro, we pause in Verige for refreshments and scenic views of the Bay of Kotor, Perast, and Our Lady of the Rocks. Next, we explore Perast’s unique architecture, then head to Kotor for a city tour. On our return to Dubrovnik, we take a ferry across the bay and finish with a panoramic stop above Cavtat, overlooking the town and airport.

Perast – Perast is a charming coastal town nestled on the shores of Kotor Bay, known for its well-preserved Baroque architecture and a tranquil, maritime atmosphere. This small town boasts a rich history, once a prominent base for naval operations under the Venetian Republic. Visitors are particularly drawn to its historic churches and two picturesque islets—St. George and Our Lady of the Rocks—accessible by a short boat ride, each hosting iconic chapels and stunning views back to the mainland.
Our Lady of the Rocks – Our Lady of the Rocks is an enchanting artificial islet off the coast of Perast in Kotor Bay, steeped in legend and history. According to tradition, the islet was created over centuries by local seamen who kept an ancient oath after finding an icon of the Madonna and Child on a rock in the sea. They vowed to drop rocks in the spot after each successful voyage, eventually emerging as a small island.
